This bright green strip is a courier handling label, not a luggage sticker: the Purolator Courier logo and white diagonal stripes sit above the instruction NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED. Purolator was a maker of oil and air filters whose name is a contraction of Pure Oil Later. It moved into package delivery in 1967 by buying American Courier Corporation. A label like this told the driver the parcel could be left without a signature.
