This red and cream label was made for cargo rather than passengers: below the Qantas Empire Airways name are lines for the consignee, date, consignment note number and weight, with "Air Freight" across the foot between two arrow motifs. Qantas Empire Airways was formed in 1934 by Qantas and Britain's Imperial Airways to carry the Australian end of the long air route to England, and the company kept that name until 1967, when it became Qantas Airways. Working paper like this rarely survived its journey, which makes a clean example worth keeping.
The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
