An Empire flying boat banks over a sunlit harbour in this horizontal 1939 poster issued jointly by Qantas Empire Airways and Imperial Airways. The artist is not recorded. The two airlines shared the long route between Britain and Australia, and on July 5, 1938, the first full flying boat service left Sydney for Southampton. Qantas, founded in 1920, had formed Qantas Empire Airways with Imperial in 1934, and the partners flew flying boat services together until the war years, when the big C-class boats kept Australia in touch with Britain and some were pressed into military service.
The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
