A red label with a white cracked wine glass warns "Fragile" in English and asks handlers in Chinese characters to handle with care, with the word Chermat across the glass and the Royal Brunei name and crest at the foot, along with form number CS 214A. Royal Brunei Airlines was established in 1974 and flew its first services in May 1975, Hong Kong among them, which helps explain a bilingual tag. Labels like this did their job on the ramp and were rarely saved.
