Tivoli Gardens and a uniformed guard set the scene in this 1956 SAS poster for "Wonderful Copenhagen", shown here in its horizontal format. Versions of the 1956 design carry French lines calling the city the laughing gateway of Europe and the crossroads of the world's air routes. The artist is not recorded. That crossroads claim was real: Copenhagen was the hub of Scandinavian Airlines System, and in 1954 SAS opened the first scheduled airline route across the polar region, from Copenhagen to Los Angeles, putting the Danish capital at a junction of Europe's routes to America.
The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
