Minimal and cheerful, this small sticker shows a single orange disc above the italic Scanair name, a fitting symbol for a holiday airline. Scanair was a Scandinavian charter carrier, partly owned by SAS, that began flying on 4 September 1961 and was based at Stockholm Arlanda. Over the years its fleet ranged from the Douglas DC-7 and DC-8 to the Boeing 747, Airbus A300 and DC-10. On 1 January 1994 it merged with Conair of Scandinavia to form Premiair.
