Bordered in vivid orange, this label shows a crowned heart emblem beside a blue map of the British Isles trailing streaks of red and yellow. Scottish Airlines was formed in January 1946 as a division of Scottish Aviation Limited, with its headquarters at Prestwick Airport. It flew worldwide charters, took part in the Berlin Airlift, carried troops for the British forces and ran a scheduled Prestwick to Isle of Man service. All flying stopped in November 1960, and Dan-Air took over its aircraft and routes.
