This anniversary sticker links two cities in blue and red line art: a domed, columned Bucharest landmark on the left, the Statue of Liberty on the right, and a jet flying between them under the TAROM name, celebrating 20 years since the first flight, 1974 to 1994. TAROM, short for Transporturile Aeriene Romane, has operated under that name since 1954, and launched regular service to New York JFK on 14 May 1974, using Boeing 707s and Ilyushin Il-62s.
