A TCA flight bag sits among the icons of a Canadian holiday in this Trans-Canada Air Lines poster: a carved totem pole, a Mountie in red serge, and a leaping salmon. "Only hours away by TCA" was a recurring theme for the airline, used for destinations at home and abroad; the Ingenium museum in Ottawa holds an Austria version of the same campaign, collected by a former Air Canada pilot and his flight-attendant wife. Trans-Canada Air Lines was Canada's national carrier and the forerunner of today's Air Canada.
