A Fokker airliner, with the high wing and boxy cabin of the Dutch maker's classic interwar designs, sweeps across a bright yellow route map in this vintage-style design for Transports Rapides Aériens, "rapid air transport." The map turns the airline's network into a pattern of lines and stops, while the aircraft dominates the sky above it, a confident picture of the early days of scheduled passenger flying. This restored artwork is a modern re-creation, and we have not been able to confirm the original poster, its artist or its date.
