David Klein's mid-1950s London poster fills the frame with a Queen's Guard in his bearskin and scarlet tunic, chin strap set and eyes fixed ahead, with Big Ben behind him and a Lockheed Constellation crossing a green sky. Dealers tie it to the surge of American interest in Britain after Queen Elizabeth II's coronation in 1953. It is one of Klein's earlier TWA designs, painted before the airline's jets arrived, and one of the most recognizable.
