'Fly TWA Super Constellations' reads this two-tone sticker: a big red TWA on cream below a Lockheed Super Constellation in a steel-blue sky, with 'Super Constellations' in elegant script. TWA flew the first scheduled nonstop transcontinental service across the United States with an L-1049 Super Constellation on 19 October 1953. The airline, officially renamed Trans World Airlines in 1950, added the improved Super G version in spring 1955. Passengers were given stickers like this one for their luggage.
