A small rectangular TWA sticker with the red TWA letters set against gold globe lines, the words Trans World Airlines in serif type, and the slogan We're Up to Something Good beneath. It is a modest, friendly piece from the airline's later years, when the red-and-white identity developed under Howard Hughes still defined the brand. Trans World Airlines grew from Transcontinental and Western Air, formed in 1930, and flew until American Airlines acquired its assets in 2001.
