Instead of an illustration, this USAir poster uses a photograph of a busy harbor to sum up the East Coast, listing the cities the airline served along the corridor: Boston, Newark, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City and Washington D.C. The waterfront view ties together cities that grew up as ports, while the list of names reads like a timetable for the Northeast. USAir, the name taken by Allegheny Airlines in 1979, built much of its network around these eastern cities. The photographer and exact date are not recorded.
