"What about India?" was produced around 1941-43 under the Works Progress Administration, as part of the Michigan Art and Craft Project, and a pencil note on an example credits Maurice Merlin of Detroit. Rather than a travel advertisement, it was an educational poster asking Americans to look at India in wartime. Its pale, layered composition gathers figures and a temple, and the design has been described as bringing together a map of India, the Buddha, Gandhi and the Taj Mahal, a compact portrait of the country's history and its struggle for independence.

The Gildan 2000, made with 100% U.S. cotton and the latest breakthrough in soft cotton technology, the Gildan Ultra Cotton family has been remastered for improved printability, quality, and comfort you can see and feel.
